 If you enjoying fishing, Holly Bay Marina is the place to be. Fisherman Coolie Williams sure thinks so. He caught the Kentucky state record smallmouth bass about 1/4 mile from our marina. He set the record on May 16th, 2000 from the Laurel River Lake. The bass was a whopping 8.46 pound monster. Mr. Williams and his tournament partner Arvil Reed pulled this winner in the boat.

    The lake terrain is ideal for smallmouth bass fishing. As you can see from the picture below, Mr. Williams is a believer.
